My favorite question about my work came from a five-year-old boy touring my studio. Pointing to a piece on a shelf, he asked if I had found it in a forest. Ahh, this made my day! While I care deeply about the beauty in the way light settles in and around my work and seek to convey feeling, age, and a natural sense of movement in a solid form… all I really want is for people to rekindle their child-like sense of wonder while viewing my sculptures.
